Business Tax Supervisor
Corinne started as an entry level customer service representative in 2001 with the City of Huntington Beach. Corinne became involved in CMRTA in 2005, earned a promotion to Senior Accounting Technician in 2006, and became a CMRTA Certified Revenue Officer in 2007.  She worked her way up the CMRTA Division Board to Division President, and then onto the CMRTA State Board where she served as the 2011 CMRTA State President. In 2010, Corinne received the Mayor’s Award for the City of Huntington Beach, and the same year decided to go back to college, graduating in 2013 from the University of Phoenix with her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. In 2014 she was promoted to Accounting Technician Supervisor, and in 2015 Corinne earned her Certificate in Public Employee Leadership from California State University Fullerton. In 2017, after 16 years, Corinne left the City of Huntington Beach and went to work for the City of Garden Grove as their new Business Tax Supervisor. At the City of Garden Grove some of her accomplishments include the implementation of Notice of Violations, and the issuance of Administrative Citations which has resulted in the reduction of the number of delinquent accounts dropping from over 2500 down to 1300. These processes have also resulted in an increase of $165k in Business Tax revenue.
In her personal time, Corinne has a passion for running and has completed 21 full marathons and over 100 half marathons. She enjoys fishing and camping, and has been married to Mike for 27 years.
